This is perhaps the finest stone Khmer figure I have acquired in over 30 years of collecting. I date it to the 10th century, though it may be a century or two earlier or later. It is an ideal size at 14 inches tall, with an ancient loss of the lower arms/hands but no other losses or repairs. The surface shows a superb, deeply developed patina that only centuries can produce. This is a truly special piece—please spend time studying the photos to appreciate its quality and presence.
