Deeply serene unusual Java Buddha- looks to be 17thC or earlier - very uncommon type. Sits 4.75 inches tall. I have seen 3 of this type in 25+ years of searching. Last photo in series shows the 2 similar pieces. The last photo in the series shows the 2 other similar pieces -- items 6647 and 6774. At one time thought these were Burmese, but further research has led me to now believe they are all from Java. Now on a new museum-style custom base.
