18/19thC Sri Lankan Buddha- Large Standing Bronze Folk Style, with original backplate and paint. Tremendous personality, uncommon in Lankan Buddhas-Puts a smile on all who see him. Large, and solid cast (heavy). Backplate is slightly bent (could be bent back- I have not tried) and reinforced with modern screws. Not uncommon on folk Buddhas to find crude repairs like this. .
