Early 20thC Indonesian (or another nearby island) depiction of Shiva. It likely had a trisula (3 pronged implement) in its right hand going all the way to the base, and possibly a back plate that broke off. It is one of the best of this type of piece I have ever encountered over the years (which is very few). Very special face, countenance, and overall presence. Likely make for practice and not as a tourist piece. A very good size. Incredible detail to the finishing work. Measures 13 inches x 3.5 inches x 3.25 inches.
