This piece is likely Sui from China. I have had three of the style over the past 30 years, One came from Koller Auction House with a pre-estimate of 2000 to 3000 Swiss dollars. They describe theirs as 6th-century Sui and Chinese. Koller often sells much higher than their pre-auction estimates. The last photo below is of the Koller example up for auction.
