18thC Mongolian - this one melts my heart. Sits only 2 1/2 inches tall, 3 5/8 inches on its custom base, but radiates wide and far for its size. Special. From an old Hawaiian collection. Sold by the previous owner (an Asian art dealer who had this piece in their personal collection for several decades) to fund a kitchen renovation. An all-time favorite. The start bid is less than my cost to purchase this piece at the Pacific Arts of Asia Show (the premier vetted Asian antique show on the west coast of the USA) in 1998 .
