Beautiful 18thC solid-cast miniature Tibetan medicine Buddha. Solid gilt bronze or copper alloy/ with a possible mix of silver and/or gold. (The previous owner believed there was gold and or silver in the alloy due to weight and feel. Never been tested). Likely an attribute from the hand of a larger sculpture. Remarkable at only 1 3/8 inches tall, 2.5 inches on its custom stand. Likely 17/18thC - ( 1.125"H x .75"W x .375"D ) - item only 15g. with base 30g.
