Very early solid-cast Tibet, Himalayan, Chinese, or silk road Buddhist monk or devotee. Based on the style and overall look and feel, it likely is approaching 1,000 years old. The body has the elongated thin look of Buddha's cast during the Liao period. 3 5/8 inches tall, on stand 4 1/4 inches. Powerful spiritual feeling.Sweet face, great patina.
