Deeply serene 16thC Ayuthaya Buddha with hands in a Samadhi (meditation) Mudra. The height is 9 inches tall, height on the custom stand is 10 inches. The original base and lower part of the legs were removed at a time bronze was scarce to make other Buddhas. Extraordinary face and overall feel to this piece- the sense of peace and equanimity are almost palpable.
