Very nice Shan style Buddha in a Shrine. It is a part of a style of teaching pieces common in Burma in the 18th and 19th centuries. These pieces are provincially cast, and have a delightful folk quality. This one is in much better condition than most, which much of it's original gilding.Some loss to the tips of the points on the shrine. When assembled it is over 9 inches high to the highest point
