Beautiful 600+ year old Muromachi Buddha face. Mounted to a custom wall mount created by a metal sculptor (the piece is removable)-it originally was part of a 3 to 4-foot tall 14C Japanese wooden Buddha measuring a height of 7. inches for the wood only. Mount measures 9.24" x 6.25" - 2.5lbs / 1.125kg. The surface of the wood looks to be polished and/or possibly touched up or stained. A rare and beautiful spiritual object.
