This is a delightful 17/18thC Cambodian Bronze Buddha. It comes from a collection of small and miniature (mostly) solid silver Buddhas from Southeast Asian Countries, Including Burma, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, and Burma. The majority of the collection is Cambodian, due to the tradition of solid cast miniature silver Buddhas in Cambodia during the 17th through 19th centuries, as many were made during this period. This is one of the few from the collection that was made in bronze. It is similar to Laos bronze Buddhas, but the face, ears, and body shape are slightly different. A very nice example of its type (great face, nice untouched patina, good overall condition). ( 4.25"H x 2.75"W x 1.5"D ) - 315g
