Why do we only show $$$ on the Buddha Gallery and not give actual prices?

First, We want to apologize for the extra time and hassle this takes (it is also much more time consuming for the Buddha Gallery as well).

Originally when we began the site in 2001 we did show all prices. It turned out that many of our clients were also sellers themselves.

At some point their customers found The Buddha Gallery themselves, and when we listed prices- it could be (quite) awkward. Many of our dealer/clients have also asked us to remove items from our site when they sell, which is why you may see some items sell and then suddenly disappear from the site. The internet is making the world smaller and smaller.

We do not share the prices for sold items which have sold with other buyers for this same reason.
